Write to us
Tell us your iPhone model, the iOS version and what happened. A screenshot helps a lot. You can also write from the app, in Settings › About.
How do I restore my purchase?
Open Good Boy Focus › Settings › Good Boy Focus Plus › Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple ID you used to buy. Plus comes back on any iPhone with that Apple ID.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions › Good Boy Focus, and tap Cancel Subscription. You can also do it from apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date. You keep Plus until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
How do I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple. Ask at reportaproblem.apple.com with the Apple ID you used to buy.
Why don't I see the free trial?
The trial is only offered on the yearly plan, and only when the App Store says you are eligible. If you already had a Good Boy Focus Plus subscription, the App Store does not offer the trial again. The purchase screen always shows exactly what you will pay.
App blocking doesn't work. What can I do?
Strict and Allow List need Screen Time permission. In the app, open Settings › Focus mode and tap the permission line. Then check iOS Settings › Screen Time is on, and that Good Boy is allowed. Blocking only happens during a focus. If a Screen Time passcode or a device-management profile is set, iOS may limit it.
My puppy got grumpy. Did I lose something?
Giving up after the first 10 seconds brings a piece of trash instead of a gift, and selling trash takes away a few treats. That's all. He forgives you on the next focus you finish.
How do I earn treats?
One treat for every minute of focus you finish, plus the treats from selling gifts and from missions. Plus doubles them.
How do I move my data to a new iPhone?
Open Settings › Your data › Export backup on the old iPhone, save the file (for example in Files or AirDrop it), and use Import backup on the new one. Plus is not in the backup: restore it with your Apple ID.
How do I add the widgets?
Touch and hold the Home Screen or the Lock Screen, tap Edit › Add Widget and choose Good Boy. The timer shows up on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island by itself while you focus.
I'm not getting reminders.
Check iOS Settings › Notifications › Good Boy and allow notifications. Focus modes on your iPhone (like Sleep) can also silence them.
How do I change the language?
The app follows your iPhone's language. To pick another one, open Settings › Language in the app.
How do I delete my data?
Use Settings › Start over in the app, or delete the app. To turn off tracking, go to iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. For data held by RevenueCat or Meta, write to us.
